Is It Mandatory for IT Companies in Pune to Register Under the Bombay Shop & Establishment Act?

Hi Folks,

My company is in Pune, Maharashtra. I would like to know if it is statutory to register the company under the Bombay Shop & Establishment Act as we are an IT service provider company. Is there any other separate IT Act under which we need to register? What are the procedures for the same?

Please help, as this is very important.

The IT and ITES companies are still being registered under the Shops and Establishment Act in all states. Therefore, it is mandatory to register your company under the Bombay Shops and Establishment Act.

I have a query. Company A purchases Company B. Company A needs to fill in formalities under the Bombay Shops and Establishment Act to update the changes made. Can anyone help me out?
