When Is Holi?

Dear All,
Please tell me whether Holi is o Sunday or Monday? Please confirm the same to me ASAp as i have to declare holiday in my Office.

It's on monday, our company declared holiday on monday for us.
But i am not very sure you can take some other people opinion also on this

It is a festival harvest and it is called as "Hoilika Dehan". Commercially this year it falls on 1st March, 2010.

Holi dahan is on 28th Feb' 2010 and the Dhulendi (play holi ) is 01st Mar'10. The holiday may declared on 01.03.10

Dear Shikha,Holi is being celebrate in North india specially in Braj region with great way. as per your need the Holi will be on 28.02.10. but next day celebrate with colours that way 2 days holiday being declared in the organisations in this region.Thanks & regardsanManoj Sharma

Holi 2nd day, Dhulivandan is on Monday, 1st March. Since in India, all celebrate Holi on Dhulivandan(Rango ki Holi) day, many companies observe holiday on this day only.

Holi Dahan ( Choti Holi ) is on Sunday and Phagun ( playing with colours ) is on Monday so you should declare holiday on Monday as well.

In my company and many companies Monday 01.03.2010 is Holiday declared on the eve of Holi so you can declare holiday on Monday 01.03.2010 as well
