As I see most employers will now have to take certain calls besides paying for mandated contributions. viz.:
1. Delete employees now eligible from existing private group health insurance
2. Continue health insurance coverage over and above ESIC
3. Increase Salary Levels for employees by at least 4.75% to exclude them from ESIC
4. Combination of option 2 & 3,
5. Combination of option 1 & 3
6. Any other, please specify
Shall appreciate if all in HR respond to the above stating:

here is new information about esic it's range going on 10000 to 15000 from the date 01/05/2010 .

Please find attached the ESI Notification. In this notification. ESI wages limit has been increased from the 1st day of May,2010 which that has been increased upto 15000/-.

Now the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Govt. of India, vide its Notification dated 20th April, 2010 has notified that the enhanced wage ceiling from Rs. 10000/- to Rs. 15000/- is effective from 01.05.2010.
