Mahr
I came across this nice PPT which shows how to identify the causes of employee trouble and behavior. I thought to share it with everyone.

Hi Mahr,

Really a good one. I find the Plutchik's Wheel of Emotions a very good model. Can you please tell me where I can find more about this?

Thanks,
GB

Dear Bharath Gopalan,

This was actually given by my old colleague. I will check with her and provide you with the update.

Great one! I will definitely use this with my human resources, but I have a question: how can you control labor mood swings, especially when they are habitual of taking intoxicants like jarda/tambaku/afeem?

Dear Manish Gupta,

This is one of the toughest challenges for an HR professional in the industry. You should refer to the link below for some ideas that can be presented in a PowerPoint form to employees. Additionally, I have a suggestion. I am not sure how it will be received, but you can discuss it with the management. My proposal is to provide an increment of 200 Rs to 500 Rs to employees who do not have any drug habits. It should be communicated that a company medical practitioner will conduct monthly checks, and if an employee is found to have lied, any increment given to them as per this policy will be revoked.

Though this is an interesting presentation, it is more focused on conditions available abroad. Even the case studies are based on experiences abroad. It would be better if the same content is presented with reference to the local (Indian) context. There is a crying need in our country to develop material like this suitable for our country, including case studies. Even our management schools are far behind in this job.

What I liked the most out of this entire exercise was the opportunity to apply our knowledge through the case study. Thank you for the wonderful presentation. I will definitely make use of it, and it has given me insight into why people behave in a certain way.
