Calculating Leave Wages Under Maharashtra Minimum Wages Act: Need Help with Formula?

Hi,

I am following the Maharashtra Minimum Wages Act 1948 for salary processing and statutory formalities. I am charging 7.69% on basic + special allowance to the principal employee and wanted to calculate leave wages for engaged employees as per the leave register format under the Minimum Wages Act 1948 table with the formula at the earliest.

How did you come up with this figure of 7.69% to calculate the leave amount? Kindly give me details of the factors that you took into account.
