Excited to Join the HR Community: How Can I Make the Most of This Forum?

Hello Everybody,

I should say this first, whoever is behind in bringing out a website like this for HR professionals and students has done a tremendous job. My heartfelt appreciation. I am extremely thankful. It is such a comprehensive one; I mean it feels like a big HR world out here.

I am so glad that I found this website when I am on the threshold of entering this fascinating domain called HR, though I feel I have missed a lot of information till date. But I am consoling myself by saying that "It's always better late than never."

Let me introduce myself. I am an MBA student from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) Marshall University, West Virginia. This is a joint venture between BVB and Marshall University from West Virginia, with the campus housed in Bangalore.

My joy knew no bounds when I saw a website like this, a forum where I can learn and share with others a tremendous amount of information. The way every single aspect is shared for the knowledge of others made a novice like me feel instantaneously the support of thousands of experienced HR stalwarts.

I would like to interact with everyone who posts messages and involve myself in this hugely popular forum of HR domain people, but please bear with my ignorance in this field. I am confident that given the kind of sharing of quality information amongst members, my ignorance will soon be a thing of the past.

It seems you work quite late... 2:31 am! Yes, CHR has done something really great by starting this Forum. There is a lot to learn by sharing. So start sharing your experiences, knowledge & learnings. Post your opinions and queries. Be an active member and help take the CiteHR to new heights.

Thank you so much, Ajmal, for a prompt reply. The truth behind the late working was that I landed up at the CHR accidentally, and the website kept me engrossed for such a long time that I never knew when it was 2:31 am. Now, I feel it's worth all the effort. :D

Rajesh and Surbhi, thank you for replying back. Rajesh, the adage that you had in your reply was really good. I surely agree with both of your remarks that this forum is a vast ocean of knowledge, and there's a lot to gain and share through this association with CHR. Looking forward to an interesting journey filled with learning. :D

Welcome to CiteHR. I am also very new to this site. I find it very interesting as I am learning lots of things that I have never heard of, even though I work in HR at a software firm. I am involved in posting, viewing, and learning a great deal.
