Struggling to Analyze Employee Engagement Survey? Need Help Choosing the Right Statistical Tool

preethiy
Hi,

I'm Preethi. I would be grateful if you could suggest a statistical tool to analyze an employee engagement survey. I have prepared a questionnaire using the Q12 model. However, the flaw is that I can't include options such as agree, strongly disagree, and so on. The questionnaire is both open-ended and close-ended. Moreover, I have to call up employees who are in lower cadres, i.e., their education level is only up to 12th grade. Now, I don't know which statistical tool to use to analyze their answers.

It's my humble request. Please email me at preethinigade@yahoo.com.

Regards,
Preethi

I am amazed at the request. When you would have known about the need for submitting a project report well in advance, why the panic 2 days before the deadline?

Without knowing the nature of the data collected, it is not possible to give you sound advice. You can't use statistical tests for analyzing data collected using open-ended questions. What sort of close-ended questions have you asked?

Please give more info about where you are studying/working and for what qualification, etc.

Have a nice day.

Hi Simhan,

I am doing my summer project at 3M India Ltd. My topic is employee engagement, and my objectives are to study employee satisfaction and the nature of supervision. Are these the right objectives? (My external guide is not giving me any suggestions.) The questionnaire I will be using is close-ended, with most of the options being yes or no. Some questions, like "Are the targets achievable?" will have options such as high, medium, low.

I need to have appropriate questions for the contract employees as they are being paid 4000 per month and work as sales executives.

Sir, please suggest how I can frame questions as the company's external guide keeps rejecting my questionnaire. I am new to project work, and it is part of my MBA course.

This is my questionnaire.

Waiting for your reply.
