If a candidate is absconded, whether he/she can claim the PF amount? if yes please give the process.

Yes, absconded employees can claim PF from the company. The employee has to contact the HR dept. & ask for the PF claim form.They have to submit the claim form to the concerned HR dept.

Are you talking on behalf of the employee or employer ? ;) Again they can claim but I dont think so that the HR Department would cooperate for an abscond employee...

An empoyer cannot withheld pf for any employee as it is a social security measure & is under a statute.
