Hi

At the let me clarify that from a training perspective, the learning method and the teaching method are like two sides of a coin. Both are complimentary to each other yet, they are different.

The learning method focuses on the styles, methods and manner in which trainees absorb the learning best, where as the training method draws attention to the trainers ability, style and method of effectively delivering the training. The co-relation between the two happens when the trainer is able to adapt a style that is appropriate to the trainees style of learning. e.g. if the trainees are more visual in their style of learning it is obvious that the trainer must use more visual aids and give exercises that make use of the visual style of learning than oral aids to make the training more effective.

Trust I have been able to demystify the two terms to your satisfaction. In fact, if you can do an excellent dissertation, it would benefit many trainers since the two terms are theoretical very clear but it is practical implication has always proved rather complicated and challenging. I would be personally interested in knowing the outcome of your efforts and would be happy to get a copy of your final report by email. (actspot@gmail.co)
