In fact, I did all 30, Ravi. Sending the file... (Please don't think I am over-smart).

Ms. Meena
I was not able to solve it once because I am not that smart. Have you ever attempted such an exercise before?

Thanks for sending it. Now I got to know how things can be looked at in a different way.

Meena

This is a bit easier, try it:

2 3 4 15 12
3 4 5 28 20
4 5 6 45 30
5 6 7 66 42
6 7 8 ? 56

The missing number is the password for the Excel file document attached with the quick post posted a few minutes ago. So, please think of the password and add your name to the list.

Ok...attempt this one if not already tried. It's a good one.

"There are 5 caps in a box: 3 black and 2 blue. A, B, and C pick one cap each. A can see what B and C are wearing. B can see what C is wearing, but C can't see any. When asked about the color of the cap, A didn't know. When asked, B didn't know. When questioned, C told the correct color. How?"

Thanks & Regards,
Kavita

There was a Mensa test similar to this circulating quite some time back. I will try to hunt it and attach it here. The test is really good and develops lateral thinking skills. The only problem is that in some cases, the answers may be correct, but a space or a word in the form of a number is also marked as wrong. So, you would not really get to know how much you have traveled in the right direction.

I suggest that you provide the correct answer chart so that everyone can benefit.

Thanks a lot,
Kalpana

If it's a funny one, here are the answers:

1) C is not color blind.
2) C knows the colors.

Hi,

C is wearing a black cap. A can see what B & C are wearing, and he couldn't tell what he himself is wearing. That means B & C are not wearing a blue cap.
