Seeking Help: How Can I Benchmark Compensation Practices to Achieve PCMM Level 5?

Hi, I'm Mithila. I'm an MBA student currently doing my summer internship at an MNC in Bangalore. My project focuses on the area of compensation and benefits. I have been assigned the task of studying the compensation structure, identifying areas for improvement, and pinpointing any existing gaps. The ultimate goal is for the company, which currently stands at level 3 of PCMM, to achieve level 5.

Since I cannot make comparisons or identify gaps without a benchmark, I am reaching out for assistance. If someone could provide me with a process document related to the compensation practices of an IT company that has achieved level 5, it would be greatly appreciated. Our company has attained PCMM Level 3 and is planning to achieve Level 5. For this, I have to conduct a gap analysis to help the company attain Level 5. I do not need to prepare any questionnaire.
