Can we withdraw PF even after 5 years of leaving a company? Do we need to mention any special reason for withdrawing PF so late? If so, please let me know in which cases PF can be withdrawn after 5 years of leaving a company.

Hi Vikash,

You can certainly withdraw PF after 5 years of leaving the company. You need to visit the PF office (where your PF details are submitted by your company) with your PF number for your PF status updates.

Where is the PF of your company deposited? The PF office requires you to submit your PF withdrawal through your employer and get your PF cleared.
