Mr Prasanth,

Thanks for your comment, However please the following details as given t-in the PF Act.

!) PF Return for Annual is (a) Form-3A and Form-6 only The Reconciliantion of challans are Annexure of Form-6.

2) The remaining things in the xl formate is PF returns supported document i.e. PF Return made easy.

Clarification about Contribution :

After revision in wage ceiling from Rs.5000 to Rs.6500 w.e.f. 1.6.2001 per month, the government will continue to contribute 1.16% upto the actual wage of maximum Rs.6500 per month towards Employees' Pension Scheme. The employer's share in the Pension Scheme will be Rs.541 w.e.f. 1.6.2001.

Under Employees' Deposit-Linked Insurance Scheme the contribution @ 0.50% is required to be paid upto a maximum limit of Rs.6500.

The employer also will pay administrative charges @ 0.01% on maximum limit of Rs.6500 whereas an exempted establishment will pay inspection charges @ 0.005% on the total wages paid.

Notes:

The above clarification is given by taking wages upto a maximum of Rs.6500 towards wage (basic+DA). Since an excluded employee i.e. drawing wages more than Rs.6500 can also become member of the Fund and the Schemes on joint request and if, for instance, such an employee is getting Rs.10,000 per month, his share towards provident fund contribution will be Rs.1200 e.g. 12% and employer's share towards provident fund contributioin will be Rs.659 and Rs.541 towards Employees' Pension Fund.

PBS KUMAR

All CiteHR members,

If annual returns of PF are wrongly submitted, it brings a lot of difficulty to you and your organization. If the actual amount due is shown more than the payment remitted by you, it will attract 17% to 37% damages, penalty, and interest on the basic amount. Is it really considered damages?

Hello,

I tried to use this file to make PF annual returns. However, I think it is not an easy task. Mr. Prashant Patil is correct in saying that there is an absence of formulas and other necessary elements.

Can anyone suggest a more straightforward way to prepare PF annual returns?

Mr. Prashant, can you tell me in 3-A and 6-A, do we have to enter actual wages or the contribution limit wage as 6500/-?
pbskumar2006
Dear Friends,

In that you have to submit Form 3A and Form 6 for annual returns to be submitted to the PF Office.

Hi, I am very new to this PF and would like to know about PF transfer and withdrawal of employees. Please let me know the procedure. For PF withdrawal, we need to submit Form 19 and 3A, and for PF transfer, we need to submit Form 13. Few of our employees are asking for transfer, and few are asking for withdrawal. I want to know about:

1. PF transfer from the old employer to the new (our company) employer.
2. PF withdrawal of resigned employees.
3. PF transfer to the new employer of resigned employees from our organization.

If anyone can provide these details, I would be grateful to them. Please send to my personal ID jyothiss@rediffmail.com.

Hi Kumar,

I am finding it very difficult to prepare Form 3A, 6A, & 12A. I thought your Excel sheet would help me out, but unfortunately, I failed to open the sheet you've attached. Could you please help me out?

Aside from that, Mr. Prashanth,
As Kumar mentioned, why don't you share your software with everyone? If you are so keen on the points you've mentioned, then let everyone have your software, which would make the work easier. What do you say?

How could I know whether we are exempted or unexempted to bill filed annual Return for provident funds.

---

In your query, the term "unexempted" is not standard English. The correct term to use in this context would be "non-exempt."

Revised:

How could I know whether we are exempted or non-exempt to file the annual return for provident funds?

Please let me know if you need further clarification or assistance.
