Can My Cousin Face Trouble for Quitting a Job Without Notice and No Bond Signed?

Hi,

My cousin joined Company A and quit that company in 20 days just by sending a formal resignation email. The reasons for his decision are as follows:
1) The company failed to fulfill the commitments (in terms of project and work) made to him at the time of the interview.
2) His profile did not match their project requirements.
3) Additionally, he had some personal issues.

After receiving the email, the company's HR department called him and threatened to send a notice, NSR, and more. It's important to note that he did not sign any bond.

Regarding NSR, he has not completed NSR registration. Can the employer do NSR registration on his behalf? Please advise.

Thanks.

Forget about the legal notice. The reason for leaving is very clear. Therefore, the company will not proceed with it once they issue a letter in the legal format.

Employment bond is not valid, and the maximum amount that the employer can recover from an employee under a contract of employment, or the so-called bond, is the amount that the employer had spent on the training of the employee and nothing else.
