Seeking Fresh Ideas for Celebrating Employee Birthdays and Anniversaries at Work

I need some suggestions regarding Birthday Celebration as well as Marriage anniversary celebration. Currently, we celebrate by cutting a big cake, having snacks, and serving soft drinks on Fridays after consolidating all employees' birthdays falling in that week and marriage anniversaries. We just give a greeting card and wish the employee by MD.

Since it has been monotonous for years, I am looking for some interesting ways of celebration by making changes to the existing way. Can you suggest some interesting ways of celebration if you have such practices in your organization?

Apart from cutting birthday cakes and giving greetings, we also provide caricature cards to our employees. If you find it interesting, you can do the same.

Hi,

We may also like to give a paid half-day off with a Gift Card (IDBI Cash card) and hang a red balloon on the workstation of the employee. First, we will communicate that we want the employee to celebrate his/her birthday and we feel it is an important day for us as well. Second, we will ensure everyone knows that there is something special and wishes him/her.

Hi there,

You might consider creating a collage of pictures of the employees on a poster board, with all those celebrating included in small photo prints of the poster given to each employee to take home. This could serve as a memory of how the company remembered the celebration.
