Hi all,
Off late, especially in IT companies, there have been hard negotiations from customers on increasing the workload without increasing rates or completing a 4-month job in 2 months. This has become a prerequisite to keep the business coming. Employees are working for 12 to 14 hours a day and stretching on an almost continuous basis. This has taken a toll on employee morale, especially when it goes unrecognized.
Request you all to please help with any policy that you may have in your organization to handle such scenarios. Also, suggest how we can recognize these people.
I am sure that this will be an issue across organizations. Let's brainstorm and come up with as many ideas as we can.
Regards,
Shilpa
