Dear Vermap,
First of all, when an employee joins an organization, the induction training is mandatory, especially in a software organization. During this training, employees are typically briefed on:
- The mission and vision of the organization
- Policies and procedures
- In and out timings of the company
- Payroll procedures
- Tours and travel procedures, including claiming
- Dress code
- Leaves (health and maternity policies for women)
- Loans from the company (if applicable in your organization)
- Timing shifts
- Benefits
- Hierarchy levels in company reporting (reporting to line managers, corporate managers, and HR)
- A brief description of the clients the organization serves and how to engage with them, both directly and over the phone, especially when dealing with projects and errors.
These are some of the basic training topics covered for new employees in an organization. Additionally, employees may receive specialized training from their project managers to enhance the skills required for their specific roles.
I hope this information is relevant.
