You can make a list of Admin Activities:
1. Stop Overtime.
2. Choose the right person for the right job.
3. Give leave to unnecessary manpower (For example, if you have 100 employees, then give leave to some for one to two weeks and rotate this among others).
4. Save electricity.
5. Evaluate the mode of transportation.
6. Stop additional benefits to senior staff and motivate employees to extend their working hours. For instance, extend office hours from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and reduce lunchtime to half an hour.

TRAVEL BOOKING:-

1. You can book 2nd class tickets instead of 1st class when the same is very urgent.

COURIER

Try to communicate through emails instead of sending letters if possible. You can scan the documents and send them to the concerned people.

ELECTRICITY

Inform all staff to SAVE ELECTRICITY by providing training on saving electricity, switching off fans, lights, xerox machines, etc., when not required or during lunch hours, keeping the AC at the required temperature, and not keeping PCs on Hibernating mode when leaving the office.

ADMIN

- Encourage staff to consume tea/coffee within a minimum limit.
- Consider changing the housekeeping service for more effective rates.
- Reduce the use of stationery.
- Avoid personal calls during work hours.
- Lock the outgoing phone instruments and grant permission to some staff (sales, HR) to use them.
