Hi Mr. Mallik,

For withdrawing PF, you will have to fill up Form 19 & 10-C, which will be deposited in the PF office by your earlier employer 60 days after your departure from that organization. Subsequently, within 45 days, the specified amount would be deposited into your bank account as provided by you while filling up the PF form.

Hi Malik,

I have a query as I have left my last company more than 1 year back. I do have the PF number and other details. Will I be eligible for withdrawing my PF amount?

Waiting for a response.

Dear HR friend,

For withdrawal of PF, you must follow the steps below:

1) Collect the withdrawal form (Form 10 C) from the relevant PF office. If you are eligible for a pension, also collect Form 10 C.
2) Fill in all the required information with a stamped signature and submit it to your previous employer.
3) If you are submitting this after a long period, provide the reason for the delay in filling it out along with a xerox copy of your bank passbook.
4) The employer should submit the form with all the necessary details on their end, including Form 3A and the signature of the authorized person, along with a covering letter.
5) After submission, the PF office will review your case and deposit the amount through a cheque into the bank account number provided by you.

I hope you find this information satisfactory. If you have any further questions, please email me or my friend Santosh Iyer.

Hi Mr. Naresh,

Please collect Form 19-B & Form 10-C (if your service is >6 months but <10 years) from your local PF office after 60 days from the date of leaving. Fill out these forms clearly and accurately. Your concerned employer will sign the forms with a statement of current contribution (Form 3A). Submit the form to the local PF office where your PF account is maintained. After 30 days, your PF accumulation will be cleared.

Hope you will find the answer in order.

Thanks,
Naresh

Dear Mr. Malik,

For the withdrawal of your PF accumulations, you will have to collect Form 19 from your Personnel Department or the nearest EPFO. You can use Form 13 for the transfer of your PF from the earlier organization to the new organization.

To avail of the withdrawal benefit under the Employee Pension Scheme, 1995, you will need to fill in Form 10C and submit it to your previous organization. There is a waiting period of 2 months, after which the Form 10C will be forwarded to EPFO by your previous employer. EPFO will credit the accumulated amount in your pension fund to the SB A/C you have mentioned in Form 10C. This withdrawal benefit is available if you have worked for less than 9.5 years in a particular organization.

Please revert in case any further details are required.

Regards,
Umesh

Hi Umesh,

Are there any chances that your previous organization would not submit the forms to the PF Office? And are there any remedies for the same?

Best regards,

Hi. I need to withdraw my PF amount from a company I left in November 2005. I had sent the request before with Form 10C and Form 19; however, they wrote back saying that I need to fill out another form called Form for allotting National Social Security Number (NSSN). Hi there,

It's been more than 9 months since I filled in the PF form for my previous employer, and they mentioned that the amount would be deposited in my bank account within 8 months. However, I have not heard from my previous employer or received any notification from the PF office yet.

Here are the issues/doubts that I am facing:
1. My previous organization's office has been closed and shifted to a location far from where I reside.
2. The savings account number that I provided for the PF amount transfer has been closed. I am unsure if this poses a problem. I believe I should have received some form of notification from either party if that were the case.

Please advise me on what steps I should take to withdraw my PF amount in this situation. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
S.I.

Hi Dear,

I want to withdraw PF from my previous organization. I would like to know the procedure for the same. My previous company's HR department is not ready to provide me with a no dues certificate or sign my PF form. I know my PF number along with the company account number. Is there any option to withdraw my PF?

My date of leaving was 31st January 2009.

Hi All,

Thanks for the valuable information on this forum, which is extremely helpful to others! Here is the scenario in my case:

1) I worked in a company, let's say, named A, for 8 months and had a PF account there.
2) I resigned from company A and joined another company named B.
3) When I joined company B, I did not get my PF account transferred to company B. I have given the same PF account number that I had in company A to company B.
4) I am expecting to join Central Govt employment in the coming month, and I am planning to withdraw my PF.

My Questions:
1) How can I go about withdrawing my PF since I did not get it transferred to my current working company B?
2) I am still working in company B for 4 years and 6 months. Is the amount I withdraw from my PF taxable?

Thanks a lot in advance! Eagerly waiting for your reply!

Hi,

I have two PF accounts at present because when I moved to my second organization, within a month's time, it was formed into a new company. The Finance team kept telling us that it would take some time before they could transfer our PF from the old company this newly formed company was a part of and from my first organization. Now it's been over 2 years, but the transfer from my first organization is not done. I have left my second company and have joined another one. Still, the PF transfer status is pending.

Can someone tell me what happens if I have multiple PF accounts? Also, can I withdraw those individually?

Hi,

I have left my organization after three months. Can I apply for PF withdrawal or transfer the same account to the new one?

I have left my organization in 2008 (worked around 2 years). I have given 1 month's notice to my company, but after that, we came to know that the company has increased its notice period to 3 months. We don't have any written notice or any letter; only they were saying it was signed between the Union and Management. Hence, I left the company after one month's notice, but the company has not settled my dues, saying it was short notice. Now I want to know how I can withdraw my PF from that PF account. Please advise. I have all the documents, like the resignation letter submitted to the company with an accepted stamp and date, and also all the related documents like appointment letters and subsequent chain of increment letters. Please advise. I will be very thankful if you could do the needful.

Thanks,

Hi guys,

I have a query. A worker contributed to PF for only 6 days and then left the organization without filling out Form 2 (revised). However, we have submitted his contributions to EPFO. Is it compulsory to send his monthly returns in Form 5 and 9 (revised)? Please help me with this matter.

Waiting for a response.

60 days of time is not required on the following grounds:
1. Retirement on superannuation
2. Marriage of a dependent immediately following the service's termination
3. Relieving to go abroad

On all other grounds, 60 days are required. This is to confirm whether withdrawal is a must or can be transferred to the next service.

If you are considering withdrawing your PF, you have the option to transfer your previous PF balance by submitting Form 13 to the previous RPFC Office through your current employer. However, if withdrawal is necessary, you can fill out Form 19, have it endorsed by your previous employer, and then submit it to the previous RPFC.

I am currently working in a limited company, say X Ltd. Previously, I used to work with another company, say Y Ltd. Now, PF was being deducted from my salary in Y Ltd, and I have left the organization more than a year back. Therefore, I have doubts about withdrawing my PF:

Questions on PF Withdrawal Process

1) I would like to know how to fill up the column for Contribution for the Current Financial Year in Form 19 for the withdrawal of PF. That is, should I include the contribution deducted from my salary by my last employer along with their contribution, or the amount contributed by my current employer?

2) Do I need to get Form 19 attested by somebody, or should I just fill it up and send it to my previous employer along with a photocopy of my bank passbook?

3) Are there any other procedures I should be aware of to withdraw my PF from my previous employer? It has been more than a year since I quit my job.

Before joining Y Ltd, I was working with the same company that I am currently employed in, i.e., X Ltd. Back then, PF was being deducted from my salary, and I want to withdraw that too (I do not want to transfer it to my current PF account in X Ltd; instead, I want to encash it). Please guide me on the same.

Hi all, I want some help from you. I left my previous company in April 2012, and I don't have the full PF account number. They only provided me with half of it on my payslip. Can you suggest how I can withdraw my money? Is there any issue with applying for a withdrawal after 3 years? What documents are required for that?

I left my previous organization in October 2010. I filled out Form 13 and submitted it to my current employer. However, during this time, my organization merged with another one, and my PF was not transferred. As a result, my account is now inactive, and I wish to withdraw the amount.

I have obtained the duly filled Form 19 and Form 10C from my previous organization. Do I need to fill out any other forms to withdraw the same amount?

Procedure for PF Withdrawal

To withdraw your PF, there should be a minimum 60-day gap. After 2 months, you will be eligible to withdraw your PF. The procedure is very simple. You just need to contact HR regarding PF withdrawal. There are several forms that should be filled out. The forms are as follows: Form No. 10-C, 19, 5 & 10. The forms should be filled out, stamped, and signed by an authorized signatory along with a photocopy of either your passbook or cheque book.

The PF forms can be submitted once all the procedures are completed, and the amount will be credited to your bank account within a minimum of 15 days.

@Ramjan.Ali, as you mentioned that you completed your PF procedure in Dec 2014, you should receive the amount by the end of January 2015 at the latest. Kindly contact your company and inquire about the status. I doubt that your company has not yet submitted the forms. If they have already submitted the forms to the PF office, ask for the acknowledgment copy as the PF office's Public Relations Officer will have stamped it with the received date. You can then contact the PF office with that evidence.

How to Withdraw PF from a Previous Employer

You can withdraw your PF from a previous employer with minimal HR involvement. To use this method, ensure your Form 11 is filled and completed.

Documents Required for PF Withdrawal

Here is the list of documents you require to withdraw your amount without involvement by the employer:
- Form 19
- Form 10 C
- Form 15 G

Along with these forms, you need to attach a cancelled cheque as well.

Here is an article link that has a downloadable PF withdrawal form that you can use to withdraw your PF: https://quikchex.in/withdraw-provident-fund-balance/
tpm.bhupi@gmail.com
Since your service is less than or up to 6 months, you are eligible to withdraw only your and your employer's contribution to the PF. First, check your UAN number as provided by your employer. If they have not provided it to you, you can check and get your UAN number from the link Check UAN Status by mentioning your PF number details.

To withdraw PF without the involvement of your employer, you have to fill out the UAN-based Form 19 and send it directly to your concerned PF office along with Form 15G, a Xerox copy of your PAN card, NEFT form, and a cancelled cheque in support of your KYC.

Please note that the process will be applicable to those who have activated their UAN and have their KYC details uploaded and approved by the employer in the PF web portal.

Dear Friend,

I want to withdraw 90% of my PF contribution as per the new rule of 2017 for a down payment to the builder for flat booking, which is under construction.

I checked the current composite withdrawal form, in which it is mentioned, "for the purchase of site/flat indicate cheque to be drawn in favor of and payee's address." So, in this case, do I have to mention the builder's name and address, or do I need to mention my own name and address to withdraw PF in favor?
