Use Of Notice Board

Dear All,
Is there any issue in sticking the birthday wishes to an employee in notice board?
If no what is the exact purpose of notice board?

There is no issue in sticking the birthday wishes at notice board .Also u can send mail to the employee from HR dept.

The notice board is basically for important notification for all, so birthdays can be put up depending if some may like it or some wont . mail is preferred for birthdays ,.
festivals , holidays or loss of anything , or any new systems that can always be on notices , for all to read and be aware .

The Meaning of notice Board Word is Notice+board. so it is very simple something that we want our (organisation) people "notice" that we can put on notice board, It might include Birthday reminder, wishes, appraisal, or quotas

Notice Board can be used for various purpose;-
1. Display of Holidays for the current year
2. Birthday wish of the staff on particular day
3. Issue of any Notice
4. Picnic detail
5. New Joinee Welcome Note
6. Appraisal
7. Wedding Wishes
8. Training
9. Condolence
10. Any revision or New HR Policies

Dear Masbee
You can put an A 4 Sheet with a birthday picture in between on the notice board and other employees can write birthday wishes for that person...and next day you can hjand over that sheet to the Birthday Boy/ girl.

Instead of Birthday wishes you can use notice board for any monthly magzines or updates if any or informing employees about new activities/initiatives like celebration for specific days by HR dept

Organizational Progress, target, current achievements
Timing of meetings, inspection and happenings information

You can maintain other boards like Personnel Board and Daily board
