Seeking Book Recommendations and HR Policy Insights for Shipping Industry Challenges

I am working with a Dredging company (Shipping Industry) as Asst. Manager-Admin. My company was set up in India last year. I foresee an opportunity in HR, so I need to enhance my knowledge to formulate and suggest new HR policies to my top management.

Can anyone help by suggesting a proper book for me to go through or with proper HR policies, particularly for the Shipping or Dredging Industry? I also want to gather information on crew hiring policies and leaves entitled for the crews on-site based on replacement.
