Hr Policy For Shipping Or Dredging Company - DOC Download

Hi,
I am working with a Dredging company (Shipping Industry) as Asst. Manager-Admin. My company had been set up in India last year only. I foresee an opportunity in HR, so I need to enhance my knowledge to formulate and suggest new HR Policies to my top management.
Can anyone help by suggesting me a proper book to go through or with proper HR policy particularly for Shipping or Dredging Industry. Also want to gather info on Crew hiring policies and leaves entitled for the crews on site based on replacement.
