All documents required for recruiting any employee should also be collected from drivers and office boys. Additionally, ensure that the driver possesses a valid driving license. If you employ an illiterate office boy or driver, you can request a letter from a known person who can confirm their identity and address.

Following are the documents that are mandatory apart from other documents:

Office Boy:
- Birth certificate: in order to verify the age, as per the law, it should be 18+
- Ration card
- Reference letter

Drivers:
- Valid driver's license
- Reference letter

You need to collect the copy of a valid driving license and DOB documents for the driver. For the office boy, collect the DOB documents, address proof, photo ID, and previous employment details (if any).

It is extremely important that for both the driver and the office boy, you submit a copy of their photo ID proof along with address proof to the local police station and request verification. These days, the police station does that for free as a gesture of service.
