Heads Required For Pf Deduction

Dear All,
As per me PF deduction is made on Basic+DA. Here DA is what? is Daily allowance? or Dearness allowance? Which -2 heads are required to deduct PF Contribution. Is pf deduction made in EL encashment. Will please clarify me?

Hi Neelender,
PF will be calculated on Basic, DA, VDA, and Food Allowane (Should be paid constatly).
Here DA means Dearness Allowance Only.
2) As per the recent amendments PF will not be deducted on EL Encashment . Bcz EL encashment amount is not a part of Salary.

for pf deduction requirements are basic+da+food concession if any + any other allowances which is not defined e.g special allowance or extra work allowance.
