The year 2009 has ended with a feather in our country's cap with the launch of "NANO" - the world's cheapest car by TATA MOTORS. This has not been achieved by any compromise on passenger safety or cost reduction, putting aside important quality issues, but by concerted efforts on the part of the entire team of vendors, besides TATA MOTORS. Organizations generate new ideas and convert them into novel, useful, and viable commercial products, services, and business practices prosper when creativity gets unleashed within. The fruits of prosperity get passed on to the society and the country as well, over a period of time. Talent retention ceases to be an issue for the industry; rather, star performers get attracted to join. Creativity, knowledge, innovation, and learning add value, rather than land, labor, or capital. But all this does not happen on its own. It requires dedicated efforts on the part of all leaders within the organization on a continuous and sustained basis. This workshop is designed to impart in-depth knowledge about how to create an atmosphere in the organization that facilitates employees towards generating workplace creativity besides removing the barriers that are roadblocks to such efforts.
