Need Help Creating a Professional Housekeeping Checklist for Hospital Rounds?

Hi all,

I am working as a Quality Service Executive in a hospital, and I have been assigned to develop a checklist of housekeeping for daily rounds. It would help the in-charges (housekeeping) to do their part properly. I am working on it now. Can anyone help me or guide me to develop a professional format of housekeeping checklist for hospitals?

Housekeeping Checklist

1. Are lights and fans working?
2. Are electrical connections proper?
3. Are there no hanging wires?
4. Are doors, windows, and tube lights clean and free of dust?
5. Are emergency contacts listed?
6. Is the emergency light in working condition?
7. Is the drainage system working?
8. Are all taps and knobs in good condition (no leakage)?
9. Are there no broken chairs inside the plant?
10. Is material kept with proper identification?
11. Are the contents of the first aid box available as per the list?
