Services Offered
There are many services offered by the Registrar of Companies, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Some of the services that you can get from ROC, Chennai are:
Getting the Director Identification Number which is otherwise called the DIN, online. The DIN is got from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). The time taken to get this DIN is 1 day and it would cost you Rs.100.
Get digital signature certificates from the agencies authorized by the MCA. This can be got in 3 days and would cost you Rs. 1500.
A company name can be reserved online which would take 2 days and Rs. 500.
The company documents can be stamped at the State Treasury in a single day which might cost you Rs. 520.
Certificate of Incorporation can be got, in 6 days time by spending Rs. 13,225, from the ROC.
Private seal at the cost of Rs. 350 can be made in a day.
You can get a PAN number through a private agency in 15 days time by spending Rs. 67.
To deduct income taxes from the source a TAN is required. This Tax Account Number (TAN) can be got in 2 weeks time by spending Rs. 57.
You can register with the Office of the Inspector, Shops, and Establishment Act at no cost within 5 days time.
By spending Rs. 500 you can register with the Commercial Tax Office for Value-Added Tax (VAT) in 17 days time.
You can register at no cost with the Profession Tax Office within 7 days time.
Register at no cost with the EPF Organization in 14 days time.
Register in 14 days time at no cost with the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation for the medical insurance.
All the above services can be got from the ROC, Chennai, Tamil Nadu and some of the services can be got simultaneously while some other service request is in progress, thus cutting down the overall time required to start a company.
