Dear Mr. M.C. Sharma,

Following is the minimum salary for the workers working in any factory or establishment:

Unskilled - 3452
Semi-Skilled - 3935
Skilled - 4368

Effective from 1st November 2009 to 31st March 2010.

We are currently using this pay scale, and my company is located in Sahibabad, U.P., so I believe it is followed in Uttar Pradesh.

Please find attached the current minimum wage notification issued by the Uttar Pradesh Government for the period 01 April 2010 to 30 September 2010:

- Unskilled: Rs. 3,795.40
- Semi-skilled: Rs. 4,326.75

Kindly note that the next revision of the Minimum Wages rates in U.P. is scheduled from 01st October 2010 onwards.

Here are the minimum wages in Uttar Pradesh for the period from April 1, 2011, to September 30, 2011:

- Basic + VDA for Unskilled: 4163.98
- For Semi-Skilled: 4746.94
- For Skilled: 5269.04
