Understanding PF Withdrawal Rules and Employer Holding Period: Employee Concerns Addressed

kausik_cal
Dear Members,

I left my last employer on the 4th of September 2009. I sent my PF withdrawal application on the 5th of November 2009. As of now, my application has not been submitted to the PF authority for payment. How many days can my last employer hold the application? Is there any rule regarding the holding of PF applications? Please let me know.

Thanks and regards.

I send the application only after 2 months of release. From 4th September to 5th November is 60 days. As of now, my last employer has not submitted the application to the PF authority. My question is, for how many days can they hold my application with them?

Dear All,

One employee can submit PF withdrawal claim application after 2 months from resignation from the last employer.

Dear Members,

I would like to know if there are any rules of the PF authority regarding how many days my last employer can hold the application without submitting the filled-up application to the PF authority. I submitted the application after 60 days, and 54 days have passed. It seems they have not submitted my application to the PF authority. Please let me know the rule.

Thanks and regards,
Kausik
