Hi,

Calculating the total salary mostly depends on the employer's policy, but you can adjust it accordingly after discussing with the top management. The basic salary is typically between 35-65% of the total salary; you can set it within this range, ensuring it does not fall below the minimum wage as per government laws.

HRA is usually 50% of the basic salary; for example, if the basic is 40%, the HRA will be 20%. DA is 25% for Delhi, but you should verify this with your employer. Medical benefits can be allocated as the remaining percentage, such as 10% or 15%.

You can deduct PF from Basic+DA and ESI from the total gross salary.

I hope this information helps you rectify any issues.
