Nice... very nice! It's excellent work you have done. I don't have much knowledge to work with MS Access. I made an Employee master (attached) for various purposes; you may take a look and work accordingly. And yes, give some room to others so they can tailor the program as they need.

Hi Joshua,

A wonderful creative thinking. I would like to add on some of my suggestions to it; I hope it will be helpful. In most of the organizations for the attendance calculation purpose, a report will be downloaded to Excel on a certain periodic basis. In that case, I would like to know:

1. Whether we can link any Excel file to this access sheet?
2. With the use of this access, can we calculate the leaves of the members quarterly or yearly basis for encashments, etc., and generate customized reports?
3. After doing the calculations, will we be able to export the same to Excel? Please clarify.

I appreciate your wonderful creative thinking. Kindly clarify some of my queries. In most companies, attendance-related calculations involve downloading a report in Excel, which is then segmented using formulas.

1. Can we link any Excel file to this attendance report?
2. Can we generate reports for a specific department or for particular types of leaves? For instance, how many employees went on vacation or took sick leave in a month?
3. Is it possible to export the report to Excel?

Please clarify.

Hi Joshua Alvina,

Please ensure not to lock menus when making changes. If you need to change the department, could you please guide me on how to do so? Additionally, how can I modify the attendance total for the calendar year? I noticed that there is a provision for adding employees, which is helpful. It is important to always provide flexibility to the user so they can customize the form according to their needs.

It is a wonderful program, but you have not given access to master tables to change departments, designations, leave types, etc. It would be nice if you could provide an open file where we can edit the master tables. Thanks and waiting for your posting.
