Understanding ESI and PF Forms: Are There Differences Between Chennai and Andhra Pradesh?

prasad_divi
Hi,

Is there any difference in ESI and PF forms from state to state? I mean Chennai/Andhra Pradesh... If there is, can anyone post all the forms for ESI and PF that are specific to Andhra Pradesh?

Dear sir,

For opening the PF account, what are the formalities required? Can you please provide me with this information? I am not aware of the process.

Dear Prasad,

If any organization has 20 employees or more, they will become liable to provide PF as well as ESI.

Thank you.

Dear Prasad,

Good morning! There is no difference in formats under the ESI and PF Acts from state to state because these are central Acts. The only difference is the language used. The forms can be printed in the language known there.

Dear Prasad,

Your next question pertains to providing PF facilities to an individual earning a salary of Rs. 6000/-. In this regard, it is important to inform you that if your establishment is covered under the PF Act, then you are required to cover him under the PF Act.

Dear Kamchoor,

If your establishment is covered under the PF Act, then you must maintain the PF eligibility Register. Simply enter the name and other details of the new employee in this register and assign the PF account number sequentially. Complete Form-2, the nomination form for that employee, and attach it with Form-5 (return of new joiners). Send these documents to the RPFC office within 15 days of the subsequent month.
