How to Manage Annoying Ringtones at Work: Can Airtel Help with a Corporate Solution?

Hi,

Ours is a service industry where many of our executives and managers are provided with cell phones. Each one has different ring tones, some of which include cine songs that can be irritating to others.

I am considering introducing a corporate ringtone to address this issue. We have a corporate tie-up with Airtel for mobile communication. I would appreciate it if someone could share their experience or recommend a service provider that offers corporate ringtones. Can Airtel provide this service?

I have a suggestion. You can ask your employees to have their cell phones on vibrating mode. We follow the same practice, and it's very helpful. It also helps to maintain discipline in the office.

I think a ringtone is a personal matter. What you can suggest is to keep the ringtone at a lower volume. People do get irritated at times because of loud ringtones, but handle it with care.

You can suggest initially that the employees keep their mobiles in vibrating mode. If complaints increase still, then impose a policy.

If you check ICICI Bank, you will notice a common caller tune for anyone with a corporate SIM card, and some individuals also have the same ringtone.

We also had this problem. What we are doing now is we have designed our own corporate tone and have asked idea people to put the same on all our members' mobiles. Of course, they are charging something for this.
