Understanding Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Fund Contributions: Employee and Employer Shares for 2009?

Could you please help me regarding what will be the employee and employer shares of contributions under the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Fund for the year 2009?

Mr. Ganesh,

Amendments to the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Fund Rules, 1973, G.O., were passed on 10th July 2009.

In the said Rules, in rule 11-A:
- Employee contribution increased from Rs. 5/- to Rs. 7/-
- Employer contribution increased from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 14/-
