I am an M.B.A. graduate, with a specialization in HR and Finance. I completed my M.B.A. through part-time regular studies. Although I have 6 years of experience in administration, I do not have any experience in HR or Finance roles; my knowledge in these areas is purely academic. I am keen to transition my career into HR or Finance, but I am struggling due to my lack of work experience. I have been facing rejections everywhere I apply due to this perceived gap.
Currently, I am employed as a Front Office Administrator at Leighton India, an Australian-based construction company. I received my final year results only after joining this company. I have submitted my certificates along with a covering letter confirming the completion of my M.B.A. to the management, but have not received any response. Moreover, there seems to be a significant amount of internal politics occurring within the company.
I am uncertain about what steps to take next. Could anyone kindly suggest a good course of action?
