Have you ever felt the feel
When your close friend
Bids you goodbye forever
With assurance of no turning back
Still, the moments of good friendship
Stand in front with all memories
The sound of whispers is still audible
The caring touch is still within the senses
The longing to meet still remains
The shared tears remain wet
The shared happiness remains alive
All good sense moves on the right path
With a sense of disappointment
Which was not fulfilled by the other
Upon the little wishes and longings
Went unnoticed even after being expressed
The heart of friendship forgives and forgets
All regrets, unmet wishes, and longings
For no proper reason and no good cause
Bidding goodbye for the rest of life
Leaving all such memories to flutter
The work of fate in the name of change
Without any consolation for the same
And still longs for the same
To join again with the permission of Fate
