Hi Ashwini,

It is not necessary to seek an external consultant for designing a training calendar. This task can be effectively handled by one of the HR personnel through discussions with the Functional Heads. You can begin by creating a skill matrix and proceed from there.

This approach is cost-effective and will save time.

In a way, that is fine, but then... I don't want to see in the future an organization in which the entire HR department is outsourced. :)
