The idea is good, but the concept is incorrect. You can discuss the topics and exchange your ideas, but it should not happen as if you are exchanging assignments. If you do exchange, please ensure that you are learning the depth of the subject. That's my only concern. I hope you can understand. Actually, my colleague has a query as follows for herself, and she is from the 2001 batch:

"Sir/Madam,

Please be apprised that I was pursuing PGDBA in HRD from your esteemed institution. My Roll No. is 01/PGDBA-C/125398 (enrolled in 2001).

I have cleared 18 papers out of 20 papers in my syllabus. I have submitted all my assignments too.

Furthermore, I had requested an extension, which was provided by yourself.

My last attempt was in Nov-Dec 2006. However, I could not clear 2 papers:

1. Financial Management

2. Managerial Economics

My sincere request to you is, is there any feasibility to appear for my remaining 2 papers to complete my PGDBA course?

Kindly guide."

Is there any procedure for that? She has invested her time and money. With good experience in HR, she is currently working as an HR Executive, and without this diploma, her experience is not fully recognized. If there is a procedure to re-deposit registration fees and take the exams online with another batch, could you please let us know?

If possible, please reply positively so that her professional life does not come to an end. Treat this matter sympathetically for one's career. She will be very grateful if you can do something in this regard.

I agree with you that assignments should not be exchanged. If ideas flow about, they can do so freely, but exchanging assignments does sound a bit weird. So how is the atmosphere with the exams almost approaching? I am doing my 1st semester and am really tensed as I still have not completed my assignments. With my work, I just don't find time to focus on the material more seriously. Can someone please help me out? Any suggestions on how to prepare for the exams?

It is even tougher for me to find any time for studies. I even work on Saturdays. I have no idea how I am going to study. Also, the subject of Accounts & Finance scares me because I am from an Arts stream, so I have no idea about it. Does anyone have any tips to share? Kindly do so.

I am Suma, and I am pursuing an MBA (PGDHRM) course from the 2008 batch of Symbiosis Distance Learning. I have to undergo the 1st-semester online demand exam. I have some confusion about it. I received books for six subjects: Business Communication, Business Law, Management Accounting, Managerial Economics, Principles of Management, and Organizational Behavior. However, when trying to complete the online assignment and book the exam slot, I notice only five subjects listed, with Business Law not mentioned. Can anyone help me with this? Is there a separate exam for Business Law, or are there only five subjects for the 1st semester? Do I need to study Business Law or not? Your guidance on this matter is urgently needed as I have exams scheduled for this week for all five subjects.

First of all, sorry for responding so late. Why don't you approach your college regarding this matter? They can provide you with information about this, right? If there are 5 or 4 subjects involved, explain your problem to them.
