The Minimum Wages for the security personnel in Kerala was last revised in 2010 and there seems to be no further revision. Please find the attachment.

Kindly share the circular for the same.

Minimum Wages will not get revised every year but there will be periodical change in the variable dearness allowance. Therefore, if you want to know the minimum wages of employees in shops and commercial establishments of Kerala you have to refer the then prevailing notification and fix the DA according to the then prevailing index number. In Kerala unlike other states, VDA changes every month based on CPI.
Now, if you are interested to know the current minimum wages which was notified in December, 2016, please find the attachment.
Also please find the notification of minimum wages as applicable to Security personnel in Kerala. Please see that this thread was started in 2009 and in 2014 I had sent an attachment of minimum wages of security personnel and this has been replaced by the new one attached now.

whether the security guards salary/basic has to comply with star hotel minimum wages or as per the minimum wage notification for security guards.we are having a audit point for the same kindly advise

The security personnel on rolls of the hotel shall be paid as per the scheduled employment pertaining to star hotel whereas in case these persons are under any third party rolls, they can be paid according to the notification pertaining to Security guards. However, in no way the wages of your on roll guards shall be less than that notified under the scheduled employment of security guards.
