Can I Withdraw My PF After Transferring Between Companies in the Same Group?

SHiremath
Dear all,

I am inquiring whether I can withdraw my PF amount if I had transferred from one company to another company within the same group.

Hi,

Since you are in the mainstream and not leaving the company but only getting transferred to another group, under such circumstances, if each group has a separate PF code, your PF amount should be transferred to the group where you are transferred. However, if the company has one PF code covering all groups, then your PF identity is not changed, and thereby you cannot withdraw. It depends on the rules and practices of your company.

Dear Friend,

To transfer your PF amount within the same group, if there is a separate code allotted to the company within the group, or else not required.

With regards,

Dear all,

If the company transfers any employee within the group company from one state to another, I want to clear a few doubts:

1) Should he continue with the same P.F. or withdraw the P.F. money?
2) If his service is interrupted, is he still eligible for Gratuity if his five years are not completed?
3) Can he ask for any other compensation from the company? Is he eligible for bonuses, gratuity, and other benefits?

Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks & Regards,
Manoj Yadav

Hi,

I agree with Kalyan's statement. According to your interest, you have both options either to transfer or withdraw the PF amount, thereby you can generate a new PF code. You are not eligible to claim 8.33% (Pension Fund) of the employer's contribution.

Hi,

Could someone please send me the procedure to be followed and the format (letter) regarding the gratuity? We have two employees who have been working in our group of companies for the last 15 years. They are now to be transferred to our company. What about their gratuity amount?
