Your situation is same like me... you need not worry just confidently tell them you were getting married and you had to concentrate on your family. just be confident infront of them. And one most important thing update yourself for the current scenerio.

Your Knowledge, confidence and interest towards HR will fetch you a job there is no doubt about. Regarding that break for 2 years I think it is understandable and common so there is no need to worry about it. Just be positive.

There is no need to worry about 2 year of gap because it it was genuin reason. now u want to to do job thats very good idea and will appreciate.
so start searching for job in your field of H.R. if you will prove that you had Genuine reason for the gap. every company will consider you.

Hi Divya,
I am in the same boat as you. Now its been 2 years since i left my job as a HR executive with a retail format. I have been concerned with the fact that i am not updated about my field as on today's date. But i still keep updating my resume on job portals and i do recieve calls for interviews. May be now i need to start reading more and keep trying to look for a suitable opportunity.
