Dear Arti,
PF Employer contribution is 12% from Basic Salary + DA
And employee contribution is also the same 12% from Basic salary + DA.
My opinion is PF is very much beneficial to all the employees.

Guidance Requested Please
We shall thank you to please arrange to guide us on the following two issues.
1.
Whether the procedure and permission under Para 26 (6) of the PF Scheme is for equal contribution by the employee and the employer beyond the salary limit of 6500 per month or is it only to pay the administrative charges ?
2.
Whether an employer can be compelled to continue to make his contribution of the amount which the employer had statutorily agreed as per the procedure and permission under Para 26 (6) of the PF Scheme and had been making in the past ?
We look forward to your kind guidance / reply.

Hi, we are a manpower company deputing engineers to project sites on contract basis. All our engineers are earning basic monthly remuneration of Rs. 25000/- and above. If an engineer wants us to deduct PF, are we also liable as employers to contribute our share. Please reply with relevant section of Provident Fund act.
