Hi Prashant,

I was going through the discussion. I am currently in an Engineering design office in Noida; however, one of our offices is in Mumbai and Goa. In Mumbai, we have around 10 persons in the office and 12 working on a site. The office is fairly new. I just want to ask about this labour welfare fund. Is it mandatory to deposit? By going through the form you sent, I noticed that employees' and employers' contributions are there. Would you please guide me about this fund, its scope, applicability, and what the penalty is for not doing so? Also, what do I need to do to deposit it?
