Hi,

I am a new member here and I am working as an HR assistant for a company. I just want your help to find ways or methods to evaluate the sales manager - in other words, the key performance indicators of the sales manager. Please help. 😊

Hi Simal,

It is difficult to give the KPI unless you inform what your company is into. However, board KPI can be classified as:

1. To meet the specified target in volume and value. This can be split into quarterly targets and specified as a KPI.
2. New customers added to the existing clientele.
3. Enquiry to order closure percentage can be a KPI.
4. MIS reports can be a KPI.

Hope this would give you a framework to start with.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Simal,

Given below is board KPI for a sales manager:
1. Sales Target vs achievement - Volume and Value basis - Quarterly/Half yearly/yearly.
2. New customer addition.
3. Penetration into a new market.
4. New Dealer / Distributor addition (If your business is into channel management).
5. Enquiry to order conversion ratio.

This is just a framework.

Thanks & Regards,

Check it.

Thanks a lot.

My company is an industrial company. I am looking for KPIs for different managers. I am now looking for KPIs of my own boss (HR Manager). You know that is difficult and sensitive. Do you have any ideas?

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Dear,

First of all, you need to tell what firm you are working for, what kind of organization it is, and what are the deliverables. Only then will you be able to establish sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Actually, my company is an industrial firm. We provide loans to customers to build their own homes, and we sell cars to people with the possibility of installments, etc. I am currently seeking ways to evaluate different managers or their KPIs.

Kindly provide me with the information you have.

Regards.
