Abandonment Of Service - Muster Roll

Dear Members,
Kindly give your suggestion on the Abandonment of service.
employee stops reporting for work. Absenteesim letters are sent to him.
5 Reminders are sent every week asking him to report for duty. The final letter states that "as you have still not reported for duty inspite of our several reminders, it is presumed that you have abandoned your service with us voluntarily and accordingly your name is struck off from our muster roll"
Is this right, or how do we frame the letter.

Dear Member,
Another format is stated below:
This is in continuation to our notice dated __________. we regret to point out that you have failed to make the compliance i.e. neither you have reported for duty nor you have submitted any explanation. We have clearly notified that in case you do not make the compliance, we will draw a presumption that you are no longer interested in the employment. Accordingly, you are deemed to have abandoned the employment of your own accord. Thus your name is being struck off from the rolls of the company.
You are advised to settle your account after handing over the charge on any working day.
regards

dear arnold
abandoment clause we give in our standing orders and get it certified from
labour commissioner also but when question comes in court this clause does not stands good.
so,you should not struck someones name from roll without issuing charge sheet and conducting domestic enquiry as per the principles of natural justice.
