Citehr Bangalore : Next Meet On Jan 21 - DOC Download

Wishing you all a very very happy New year and happy sankranti.
To start with My name is Sridhar. I am the coordinator for this months' meet.
Normally the CiteHr meeting was conducted on 2nd Sunday of every month, but this month it will conducted on 3rd week as we want our members to celebrate the sankranti festival which is around the 2nd week of jan.
So lets begin this years' first CiteHr meet on a High note.
The venue and the timings will be intimated to all of you shortly.

Can anyone attend this meet. Say it be a non-HR person or a junior HR or any level of HR person.

With Sridhar's permission, I’m trying to answer the questions.

1. Yes of course anyone with an interest in HR can attend. That would mean trainers, HR folks-junior or senior, recruiters etc. Anyone who want to learn about Hr or can contribute something about HR, please come over. Preferably register yourself as a citehr member, read some of the discussions, reply to some if you like before you come.

2. The venue: The Arrupe hall, 1st floor, Ashirwad, no 30. st. marks road cross, Bangalore-1

3. The time: PM SHARP. ( Please ask for Greatscope Consulting's meeting as the hall is booked in that name.)

4. Fees : we simply divide the cost of the hall & tea/snacks by the numbner of members attending. Usually less than . The more members attending, the lesser it costs. So everyone & his dog can come! ( just kidding!)

Sridhar will post the agenda. But it is sure going to be worth your while. I've NEVER missed a single meeting since we began in October 2006.

So I encourage all members of Bangalore to shed their inhibitions, reasons, excuses ; cancel, postpone other appointments & make this 4th citeHr bangalore meet a FANTABULOUS SUCCESS !

Hi Suvarna, arun & mary & others,
We had a great citeHr meeting on Sunday.
Shreya Choudhry gave a simple yet very interesting preview about DISC profiling. All the ( 10 ) participants enjoyed the presentation & there was a lot of discussion on the topic.
Pity we did not have more who could benefit from the session.
The next meeting is scheduled for Sunday 11th of Feb & we are trying to have a session on BEI- Behavioral Event Interviewing. ( topic to be confirmed yet.)
We decided that we wil each get around 5 friends then we wil have a sizable quorom for the next meeting.
If current cite Hr members cannot come, then we simply create new citehr members & get on with the meeting.
for the record , many of the atendees were first timers.
The show must go on!
