Designing an Interview Evaluation Sheet: What Should You Include for Effective Candidate Assessment?

achero
Hi, I am trying to design an interview evaluation sheet for my company. Kindly advise on the format and what to evaluate on.

When creating an interview evaluation sheet, it is essential to include sections that assess various aspects of the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role. Consider including categories such as technical skills, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and overall job fit. Each category should have specific criteria or questions that help assess the candidate's proficiency in that area. Additionally, it's crucial to have a rating scale or scoring system to quantify the evaluation objectively. Lastly, leave room for comments and feedback to provide additional insights into the candidate's performance during the interview.

You can decide the various common parameters which are generally required for all posts, such as communication skills, presentation skills, and technical skills. Then, rate the candidate based on his skill levels!

Dear Nalini,

The format you have sent is fine and contains most of the attributes for assessing the suitability of a candidate during an interview. However, it would be a better idea to have one sheet for each candidate. One sheet is always easier to preserve in the personal file.

Request for IAS Form with Skill Set Ratings

It's nice to see everyone making efforts to create a platform for HR inquiries. This is Sandeep Singh Sasan, Regional Head HR North from the Infrastructure Industry seeking assistance. I am in need of an IAS form that includes skill set ratings for roles such as Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Civil Engineer, Technician, Mechanic, Operators, etc.

Could you help me in preparing a new format that would make it easier for us to select candidates? I am looking for a form with objectives related to his/her technical work. Your valuable suggestions are eagerly awaited.

Regards,
Sandeep Singh Sasan
