Understanding MIS Reports
The MIS report means "Management Information Service." Generally, it is submitted monthly to the head of the unit (Factory or Establishment). The report should reach the concerned head from all department heads by the first week of the month, covering the last month's particulars. The HR department also submits their report. In our organization, we usually submit the format as follows:

- **Managers, Staff, Operators, Temporary, Total**
- **Manpower Position in:** _________________________________________

- **Advertisement Given For:** If a paper ad is given during the month or else if any
- **Time Office for Controlling Attendance**
- **Disciplinary Actions Taken for the Reasons**
- **Monthly Appraisal System from the Heads Received**
- **Suggestions from the Dept. Heads and Employees**
- **Reports from the Statutory Authorities Received**
