How Can I Transfer My Tax-Free Salary from Qatar to India Without Tax Issues?

I have a very good offer from Qatar. The salary is tax-free. How can I transfer the salary savings to my parents in India so that I am not supposed to pay any tax on it? Also, suggest to me how to show this tax-free income in Form No. 16 for filing tax returns in India.

You were not supposed to pay any tax as it adds to the Indian economy. There is no tax for the foreign exchange, and you can send your money through instant cash, Western Union money transfer, and many more.

Even though your salary is tax-free in Qatar, you still don't have to pay anything as tax in India. As I read in the news 3 months ago, the Indian government is planning to impose some tax on NRIs' salaries as well, but it has not been implemented yet.

The tax should not be imposed on NRIs' salaries because, as Shah Maqdoom wrote, NRIs' salaries contribute to the Indian economy.
