I understand you are a fresher and are looking for a project as part of your curriculum.
In this way, you need to undertake some simple project which can comprehend the studies done by you in your course, instead of complicated topic such as Succession Planning, PMS, 360 Degrees etc., because such things require huge in-depth working knowledge in the system including the culture of the organisation.
I would advise to go for projects such as-
a) Applicability of Maslow's Theory on Motivation in today's scenario;
b) Designing and implementing Psychometric Tools for Recruitment;
c) Ways to measure the ROI on Trainings. (As this is the concern area for most HR Managers now also);
d) Non Monitory Incentives;
e) Innovative Reward Schemes;
f) How to improve Communications Channels?
