Appointment Letter

Dear Mr. ,

With reference to your application dated 11/09/08 and subsequent interview you had with us, we are pleased to appoint you as Assistant Manager in Grade 7, at our Works.

Your remuneration will be as under –

a) Basic Salary: Rs. /- per month

b) House Rent Allowance: Rs. /- per month

c) Education Allowance: Rs. /- per month

d) Conveyance Allowance: Rs. /- per month

e) Incentive Allowance: Rs. /- per month

f) Performance Allowance: Rs. /- per month

g) Limit for Medical Reimbursement: Rs. /- per annum, payable quarterly

h) Limit for Leave Travel Assistance: Rs. /- per annum

You will also be eligible for Provident Fund and Gratuity as per statutory regulations and/or company policies.

The Company’s employment conditions and Code of Conduct are as explained in Annexure 1, which will form an integral part of this appointment letter.

Kindly sign the duplicate copy of this letter as a token of acceptance and return the same to us.

You will be required to handover to HR at the time of joining itself the following documents -

(1) Medical Fitness Certificate from any MBBS doctor (2) Final clearance from your last employer (3) Proof of age, qualification, experience, and last drawn remuneration (4) Your savings bank a/c no. with ICICI Bank or HDFC Bank; and also (5) Recent identity size 4 colour photographs (6) PF and FPF no., if any.

ANNEXURE 1

Employment Conditions and Code of Conduct.

1. Probation: You will be on probation for a period of six months from your date of joining. Your probation period will be deemed to have been extended until such time the Company gives you a written Confirmation letter. During the probation period, your employment may be terminated by either side by giving 30 days’ notice or monthly payslip remuneration in lieu of notice.

2. Transfer: During your employment, you may be transferred from one place to another and/or from one department to another and/or from one unit to another, either existing or to be set up in the future or sister organization anywhere in India or abroad purely at the discretion of the management.

3. Cessation of employment: After confirmation of service, either side may terminate the employment by giving three months’ notice in advance or three months’ pay-slip salary and allowances in lieu thereof. At its sole discretion, the Company may waive notice period shortfall against recovery of notice period pay calculated on pay-slip salary and allowances.

4. You will retire automatically from the employment of the Company on attaining the age of 55 years. An extension up to 3 years may be granted, purely at the discretion of the management, on the terms and conditions decided by the company. You will stand retired automatically without any notice on completion of the extended period.

5. Medical fitness: This appointment and its continuance will be subject to your being found medically fit and remaining so during the employment. You may be required at any time during the employment to appear before a Medical Officer specified by the Company, whose findings shall be final and binding on you.

6. Misconduct: During your employment with the Company, if you are involved or found guilty of dishonesty, negligence, indiscipline, or involved in criminal cases/activities, or of any conduct considered by us as detrimental to interests of the Company or of violation of one or more terms of your employment, it would amount to breach of this agreement and you will be liable for disciplinary action including termination of your employment with the Company, without notice.

7. Confidentiality: You will treat all information received by you during the course of your employment with us as confidential. You shall not either during your employment with the Company or thereafter, divulge to any unauthorized person, any ideas or any other information concerning the business and affairs of the Company, or any of its dealings, transactions or trade affairs or trade secrets, which come to your knowledge during the course of your employment or use any of the same for your benefit.

8. Safe keeping of Company’s Property: You will be responsible for safe keeping and return in good condition and order all Company’s property such as tools, equipment, instruments, books, etc. which may be in your possession, use, custody, or charge. The Company shall have the right to deduct the money value of all such goods from your dues/salary and take such other action, as it deems proper in the event of your failure to account for such property to its satisfaction.

9. General: (a) You will not, without the Company’s prior written permission, carry on any work for remuneration during your spare time. (b) You will be governed and will abide by the Company's rules and regulations applicable to you, which are in force for the time being or that may be framed from time to time. (c) You shall carry out all other lawful orders/instructions/directions of your superiors as are given to you in connection with the day-to-day discharge of your duties while in employment.

10. Leave: You will be entitled to leave as per Company Leave policy, as may be revised from time to time.
